We are a Christ-centered, family-hearted fellowship of people from south Charlotte-Fort Mill areas. As a family, we reach out for the refreshing touch of God’s presence. We worship Jesus Christ as we fellowship together and encourage each other. Through the Holy Spirit, we are filled with living water. We build intentional relationships. We live alongside each other. Scot FORD - PAstor
Scot and Jeanie both grew up in the Belton-Honea Path area of South Carolina, after having been born into Christian families. They both were born again at an early age and have been involved in Christian leadership since the age of 19.
After training for full-time ministry at the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry, the Ford family left for the mission field and served in Europe for 6 years. While in Italy and Germany, they served in various capacities including church planting, discipleship, and encouraging churches and individuals through preaching and teaching the Word of God. Scot and Jeanie have three sons, two daughters-in-law, one grandson and two grandaughters.
JOHN CAVA - Elder
Marked by a supernatural encounter with God the night of his conversion to Christ, John‘s desire is for people to know the Lord in His fullness and for His glory to be manifest in and through their lives. His greatest passions are the Father’s heart and world missions. He encourages individuals to answer God’s unique call for their lives. As an international traveler with a background in business, he unfolds the need and the potential in God from the marketplace to the nations.
John has taught in several Bible Schools, was Associate Director of GSMA mission’s agency and founding Director of Missions for the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry and FIRE School of Ministry. He currently is Founder/President of the World Outreach Center in Fort Mill, SC. John and Joanne have a growing family of four children, of which three are married, with eight grandchildren.
A Global Minsitry Perspective
Touchpoint Church was birthed out of the ministry of World Outreach Center in Fort Mill, SC. In 2007, John & Joanne Cava began WOC to prepare people to bring the Kingdom of God to the nations. Scot and Jeanie Ford joined them in 2007 from the mission field of Europe to help John and Joanne build the ministry in Fort Mill. WOC-trained missionaries now serve throughout Asia, South America, Africa, Europe, The United States and Mexico. These servants of the Lord are a valuable part of the Touchpoint Church family.
Today, WOC continues to prepare people for cross-cultural ministry, both here in the US and around the world.
